The Lake and other photo's from Hay Riv

Hay River lies on the south shore of the Great Slave Lake, which as it name suggests, is mightly great is size! It's the deepest lake in North America and the ninth-largest lake in the world. When you stand on it's beaches it's like looking out into the ocean. It's crazy to think that the whole thing freezes over in the winter and trails are created for snow-mobiling and ice-fishing.
